On AWS the internet-out grant is an account-level pool, not a per-service gift. EC2, S3, Lambda, and several other products share the same Data Transfer Out to Internet ladder published on the EC2 on-demand page, so a second workload in the same account can exhaust the grant before this calculator's toggle expects it. NAT Gateway processing, public IPv4 hours, and cross-AZ bytes sit on other meters and will not appear in an egress-only estimate. S3 Standard capacity looks cheap until GET traffic leaves the bucket on that shared ladder. Tokyo compute and transfer rows price above N. Virginia; always pin the region.
